Terms and Conditions

Please take a few minutes to read through the T & Cs as these form the basis of our / your? cake contract. Further information can be provided on request. These terms and conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Paying the booking deposit will be deemed as the terms are understood and accepted.

Order process

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
Quotes are valid for 2 weeks only so please if you want to wait longer than this please check that the date is still free if you come back to us at a later stage.
Contact emails, address and contact phone numbers are required and wont be passed on to any third parties.
Once you are happy with any design that we have made or you have provided we will require a deposit / booking fee of £100.

Samples /Consultations

We are finding that a lot of our clients are not local to us ie outskirts of London, even further afield so consultations at The Pantry are not always possible, we do like to meet our clients where possible but this is not always the case as we have several venues that totally recommend our services and our clients are more than happy with this. We do however send sample boxes as an alternative. Please enquire for more information.

Payment

Our preferred method of payment would be bank transfer. No cheques please. This is non-refundable unless agreed otherwise. Your cake will not be deemed confirmed and date not reserved until this payment is received.

Wedding cakes are sometimes booked before we have decided on all the details and total cake price. I will usually give a quote at the time of booking based on details we have discussed. Finer details ie cake size change addition of cutting cakes etc can be made either at a consultation at The Pantry or phone, zoom etc.

Final payments are due 4 weeks before delivery date and any amendments to your order ie favours may be added up until this period.

Cancelation

By client. You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 6 weeks before your order is due to be delivered. In writing please to email gailscakepantry@outlook.com with all details of your order. Booking fee / deposit is non-refundable.
Cancelation by Gails cake pantry for exceptional circumstances where I am able to fulfil your order, ie sickness or personal emergency, I will notify you in writing and contact by phone as necessary and a full refund will be given. I will also do my best to find another supplier to fulfil your order.

Insurance

We are fully insured and for transporting your cake to the venue. Once your cake has been delivered set up and we are not responsible for any mishaps thereafter and would strongly advise that your purchase wedding insurance of your own.
